A few years ago I have designed a special font. It took me about a year of on and off work. One day my Maxtor HDD died and there was no way I could recover my work. But I had the font embedded in some PDF files for my clients. Then I have the the ideea to extract fonts from these files. After a year or so of looking online for an answer I put together a method to extract fonts from PDF. I have presented this method on my blog at http://pdffontextract.blogspot.com . Since I have come up with this solution many alternetives emerged but there nothing wrong with diversity. I made this post to help other that need to recover their lost work. did this hack to a cheap USB car charger I bought for $5. I figured, the iPhone car charger easily costs at least ten times more than that, so what the heck. was able to make it work but I neglected to properly seal the ends and accidentally got a mild shock while driving. nonetheless, very glad to have made it work. Nice blog mate! Regarding this specific article – it is a good and useful service and I would like to see them expand their list of countries in the near future. It is frustrating when you find something you would like to buy and there’s no shipping!

When I get the “Disk is not formatted” i access the floppy under Linux. This process seems to work very well for me also.

Very interesting method you have presented here. I am a graphic designer and I work mainly for auto industry. They use special fonts for every icon in the car. I had this problem a few months ago. At that time it was very little information about this subject online. After a lot of researching I have developed a procedure to extract any type of font embedded in any pdf file. This is inviting but is it legal to do this? What if the owner of the address finds out that their home address was used for shipping items to me. Or what if my ordered goods are shipped directly to their place? These things are not far from happening. I just like to know if I’ll be held liable for this?

Floppy Disk is Not Accessible, Not Formatted, or Not Recognized by Windows – Solution

After performing all the steps in the troubleshooting guide, going online to update drivers, and reading all the knowledge base comments, I decided to unplug both power cords to the floppy drive inside the p.c. tower and then reinstall it.

Afterward, I clicked on Add New Hardware under the Control Panel and followed the prompts.

I don’t know if missing drivers were reinstalled or if setting conflicts were resolved. However, it worked afterward.
