Firefox.no launched!

Note: This is a retrospective post from my old homepage

Firefox.no [norwegian] just launched this summer! We are a couple of volunteers who are interrested in the mozilla project. The site is lead by Vidar Braut Harr, and I am the Community Manager of the team. This site is the official site (but not an official Mozilla Foundation site…) of the norwegian bokmÃ¥l (and soon to be nynorsk) translations of the Mozilla Suite, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird and Mozilla Sunbird/Mozilla Calendar. Probably we’ll have a Nvu translation sometime later this year.
Mozilla Firefox 1.0 is also soon to be released, and the team will be working on updateing the translation so it could be in the official localized builds to be made by mozilla.org. You could read more over at HÃ¥vard Mork’s blog and of course at Firefox.no if you read Norwegian.

Y2K+3

Note: This is a retrospective post from my old homepage

Ok, maybe a couple of years to late… But this article describes the difference between the Millennium and the year 2000.
And folks… You cannot say that year 2003 is year Y2K3, because Y2K3 is year 2300. (K is Kilo wich means 1000 so 2K is 2000 and 2K3 is 2300 because 3 is after the decimal separator -> 2.3*1000=2300 (as you can see, the K symbol is used as the decimal separator)) So instead of saying Y2K3 you could just say Y2K+3 :-)
